Terms & Conditions

By accessing, visiting, participating in activities at, or using services provided by Staheli Family Farm (“Farm,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Staheli Family Farm is a working farm and agritourism destination. Visitors understand and acknowledge that participation in farm activities, attractions, events, recreational activities, and use of Farm facilities involves inherent risks that may include, but are not limited to, uneven terrain, weather conditions, agricultural equipment, livestock, physical activities, crowds, noise, and other hazards commonly associated with farms and outdoor recreation.

Visitors voluntarily assume all risks associated with their visit and participation.

2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, visitors agree that Staheli Family Farm, its owners, employees, agents, affiliates, volunteers, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, theft, damage to personal property, or other claims arising from or related to a visit to the Farm, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

3. COMPLIANCE WITH FARM RULES

All visitors must follow posted signs, safety instructions, staff directions, and operational rules at all times. Failure to comply may result in removal from the property without refund or compensation.

4. CONDUCT OF VISITORS

Staheli Family Farm reserves the right to deny admission, refuse service, or remove any individual whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, intoxicated, abusive, or otherwise detrimental to the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of guests, staff, animals, or property.

5. ATTRACTION AND EVENT AVAILABILITY

Attractions, activities, amenities, entertainment, food service, vendors, and events may be modified, delayed, restricted, suspended, or canceled due to weather, maintenance, safety concerns, staffing, capacity limitations, agricultural operations, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Staheli Family Farm reserves the right to make operational changes at any time without prior notice.

6. CHILDREN

Parents, guardians, and supervising adults are solely responsible for the care, supervision, conduct, and safety of minors accompanying them while on Farm property.

7. ANIMALS

Only service animals as defined by applicable law are permitted unless otherwise authorized by Staheli Family Farm. Service animals must remain under the control of their handler at all times.

8. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA RELEASE

By entering the property, visitors grant Staheli Family Farm permission to photograph, record, or capture their likeness, image, voice, or appearance in connection with Farm operations, events, marketing, advertising, promotional materials, social media, and other lawful business purposes without compensation or additional consent.

9. PERSONAL PROPERTY

Visitors are responsible for their personal belongings. Staheli Family Farm is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

10. PROHIBITED ITEMS AND ACTIVITIES

Visitors may not bring or possess illegal substances, weapons, fireworks, hazardous materials, or other items prohibited by law or Farm policies. Unauthorized commercial activities, solicitation, or distribution of materials are prohibited without prior written approval.

11. PROPERTY RIGHTS

All Farm facilities, attractions, content, trademarks, logos, photographs, and materials remain the property of Staheli Family Farm or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without permission.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. CHANGES TO TERMS

Staheli Family Farm reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Farm’s website and become effective upon posting.

Ticket & Refund Policy

This Ticket & Refund Policy governs the purchase and use of admission tickets, event tickets, attraction passes, memberships, and other admissions offered by Staheli Family Farm (“Farm,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

1. TICKET VALIDITY

All tickets are valid only for the date, time, event, attraction, or season specified at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.

Admission is subject to operating hours, attraction availability, capacity limitations, safety restrictions, and Farm policies.

2. REFUND POLICY

All ticket sales are final.

Tickets, admissions, passes, memberships, reservations, and event purchases are non-refundable.

3. RESCHEDULING AND EXCHANGES

Subject to availability and at the Farm’s sole discretion, certain tickets may be eligible for a date change or exchange. Requests must be submitted before the scheduled visit date.

Additional fees, price differences, blackout dates, or restrictions may apply.

Staheli Family Farm is not obligated to honor requests for changes after the scheduled visit date has passed.

4. WEATHER POLICY

Staheli Family Farm operates in a variety of weather conditions.

Tickets will not be refunded due to rain, wind, heat, cold, dust, or other weather conditions unless the Farm officially closes the attraction, event, or property.

If the Farm cancels or closes an event due to severe weather or other operational circumstances, the Farm may, at its discretion:

  • Reschedule the visit date;
  • Issue a credit toward a future visit;
  • Exchange the ticket for another eligible date; or
  • Provide a refund.

5. ATTRACTION AVAILABILITY

Certain attractions, activities, vendors, entertainment offerings, food services, or amenities may be unavailable due to maintenance, weather, staffing, agricultural operations, safety concerns, capacity limitations, or circumstances beyond the Farm’s control.

The temporary closure or unavailability of individual attractions does not entitle guests to a refund, partial refund, or credit.

6. EVENT CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS

Staheli Family Farm reserves the right to modify schedules, operating hours, attraction offerings, entertainment, vendors, event programming, and other aspects of the guest experience without prior notice.

If an event is canceled by the Farm and cannot reasonably be rescheduled, guests may be offered a refund, credit, or exchange at the Farm’s discretion.

7. TRANSFERABILITY

Unless otherwise specified, tickets may not be copied, duplicated, altered, resold, transferred for commercial purposes, or used for unauthorized promotional activities.

Staheli Family Farm reserves the right to void any ticket obtained through unauthorized resale, fraud, or misuse.

8. LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED TICKETS

Staheli Family Farm is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of tickets.

Proof of purchase may be required for any ticket-related assistance.

9. DENIED ADMISSION OR REMOVAL

Guests who violate Farm policies, engage in unsafe behavior, fail to follow staff instructions, appear intoxicated, possess prohibited items, or otherwise create a safety concern may be denied admission or removed from the property.

No refund, exchange, or credit will be provided in such circumstances.

10. PRICING ERRORS

Staheli Family Farm reserves the right to correct pricing, promotional, technical, or typographical errors at any time, including after an order has been submitted.

If an order is affected by a pricing error, guests will be contacted regarding available options.

No Animals Policy

For the safety of our guests, farm animals, and staff, pets and other animals are not permitted on Staheli Family Farm property.

Service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are welcome. Service animals must remain under the control of their handler at all times. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, and companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and are not permitted.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

PARTICIPANT LIABILITY WAIVER, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND VISITOR AGREEMENT

This Agreement is a legally binding contract entered into by and between Staheli Family Farm located at 3400 S Washington Fields Rd, Washington, UT 84780 (referred to throughout this document as the “Farm,” and together with its owners, employees, agents, affiliates, volunteers, contractors, and partners, as the “Released Parties”) and the individual purchasing admission, entering the property, or participating in activities (referred to throughout this document as the “Visitor,” “Guest,” “I,” “Me,” or “My”).

YOU ARE ASSUMING THE RISK OF PARTICIPATING IN OR OBSERVING AN AGRITOURISM ACTIVITY.

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND HAZARDS
Staheli Family Farm is a working agricultural destination. By accessing, visiting, participating in activities at, or using services provided by the Farm, visitors understand and acknowledge that participation in farm activities, attractions, events, recreational activities, and use of Farm facilities involves inherent risks that may include, but are not limited to:

  • Uneven terrain, dirt, mud, gravel, unpaved pathways, and natural hazards.
  • Weather conditions, extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, and sudden environmental changes.
  • Agricultural equipment, heavy machinery, structures, and operational hazards.
  • Livestock, farm animals, and native wildlife.
  • Physical exertion, strenuous activities, slipping, tripping, falling, crowds, noise, and actions of other visitors.

I VOLUNTARILY AND EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH MY VISIT AND PARTICIPATION, INCLUDING THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER OF CLAIMS (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE)
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, visitors agree that Staheli Family Farm, its owners, employees, agents, affiliates, volunteers, contractors, and partners (“Released Parties”) shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, theft, damage to personal property, or other claims arising from or related to a visit to the Farm.

THIS RELEASE SPECIFICALLY INCLUDES CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES. This release does not apply to claims resulting solely from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

3. PARENTAL SUPERVISION AND RESPONSIBILITY
Parents, guardians, and supervising adults are solely responsible for the continuous care, supervision, conduct, and safety of any accompanying minors while on Farm property. Parents and guardians acknowledge that they have reviewed all warnings, safety guidelines, and rules with their minor children and agree to ensure their compliance with the Farm Code of Conduct at all times.

4. MEDICAL CARE AND FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
I authorize the Farm and its representatives to secure emergency medical care, first aid, or transportation for me or accompanying minors if deemed necessary. I agree to assume all costs associated with such medical treatment, emergency transportation, and care. I fully release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any liability related to the provision or failure to provide such medical care.

5. CODE OF CONDUCT AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE
All visitors must follow posted signs, safety instructions, staff directions, and operational rules at all times. Failure to comply may result in removal from the property without refund or compensation.

The following items and activities are strictly prohibited on Farm property:

  • Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind.
  • Self-defense or restraining devices, including pepper spray and mace.
  • Fireworks, explosives, flammables, smoke machines, or fog machines.
  • Smoking, vaping, and any products that produce vapor or smoke.
  • Line breaking, leaving and re-entering a line for any reason, or place-holding in line.
  • Unruly or disruptive behavior that interferes with others, including running, the incitement of running, and blocking pathways and exits.
  • Acts or behavior that staff deems to be a safety concern, or that interrupts operations or visitor enjoyment.
  • Harassing or threatening behavior, sexual misconduct, or lewd behavior, including inappropriate interaction with guests or staff.
  • Fighting or physical aggression of any kind, including verbal assaults.
  • Offensive language or gestures.
  • Conduct deemed inappropriate for the peace and good order of the property.
  • Theft of any kind.
  • Selling tickets, credentials, or other entitlements, or soliciting and distributing literature not sponsored by the Farm unless otherwise approved in writing.
  • Refusing to follow verbal or printed instructions or cooperate with staff and security.
  • Entering restricted areas, including attraction danger zones and behind-the-scenes areas.

6. SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY

  • Lost or Damaged Tickets: The Farm is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of tickets. Proof of purchase may be required.

11. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
These terms shall be governed by and construed strictly in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah. I agree that any legal action, dispute, or lawsuit arising out of this agreement or my visit to the Farm shall be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington County, Utah. If any provision is found unenforceable, all remaining provisions remain in full force.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF UNDERSTANDING
BY PURCHASING A TICKET, CHECKING THE “I AGREE” BOX, OR ENTERING THE PROPERTY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS ENTIRE DOCUMENT. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE OR TICKET PURCHASE CONSTITUTES A LEGALLY BINDING SIGNATURE. YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY ALL RULES, VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS, AND WAIVE YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AS OUTLINED ABOVE.

FIELD OF SCREAMS WARNING:
THE FIELD OF SCREAMS IS AN EXTREME ATTRACTION THAT IS DESIGNED TO SCARE AND STARTLE. THIS ATTRACTION & THE AREA IN GENERAL WILL HAVE AREAS OF LOW LIGHTING, UNEVEN GROUND, STROBE LIGHTING, LOUD SOUND AND FOG. GUESTS WITH RESPIRATORY SENSITIVITIES, HISTORY OF SEIZURES OR EPILEPSY, OR SENSITIVITY TO LOUD MUSIC AND SOUND EFFECTS ARE ADVISED NOT TO PARTICIPATE. YOU KNOW YOUR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL LIMITATIONS, THE FIELD OF SCREAMS DOES NOT. IF YOU SUSPECT YOUR HEALTH COULD BE AT RISK FOR ANY REASON, OR YOU COULD AGGRAVATE A PRE-EXISTING CONDITION OF ANY KIND, DO NOT PARTICIPATE!

Staheli Family Farm and Field of Screams are working agricultural destinations and extreme interactive theatrical environments. By accessing, visiting, participating in activities at, or using services provided by the Farm and Field of Screams, visitors understand and acknowledge that participation in farm activities, haunted attractions, theatrical scare zones, events, recreational activities, and use of facilities involves inherent risks that may include, but are not limited to:

  • Uneven terrain, dirt, mud, gravel, unpaved pathways, and natural hazards.
  • Large temporary structures, massive enclosed event tents, specialized framing, semi-trailers, and modified shipping containers.
  • Haunted attraction elements, including total or partial darkness, low visibility, high-intensity strobe lights, artificial fog, dense smoke effects, sudden loud noises, pneumatic startle effects, theatrical blood, and actor-driven jump scares.
  • Proximity to and interaction with live performance actors, unexpected startle-induced physical reactions, sudden movements, and accidental physical contact from staff or other patrons.
  • Weather conditions, extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, and sudden environmental changes.
  • Agricultural equipment, heavy machinery, structures, and operational hazards.
  • Livestock, farm animals, and native wildlife.
  • Physical exertion, strenuous activities, slipping, tripping, stumbling, falling, crowds, high noise levels, panic responses, and the unpredictable actions of other visitors.

I VOLUNTARILY AND EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH MY VISIT, HAUNTED ATTRACTION PARTICIPATION, AND PRESENCE ON THE PROPERTY, INCLUDING THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, PANIC-INDUCED INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER OF CLAIMS (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE)
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, visitors agree that Staheli Family Farm, Field of Screams, their owners, employees, actors, agents, affiliates, volunteers, contractors, and partners (“Released Parties”) shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, theft, damage to personal property, or other claims arising from or related to a visit to the Farm or Field of Screams.

Mandatory Field of Screams Rules:

  • No eating, drinking, or smoking anywhere inside the attraction or queue lines.
  • No running due to uneven ground, low visibility, and potential slip/trip hazards.
  • Do not touch or harass the talent (actors, performers, or staff) under any circumstances.
  • No video or flash photography inside the haunted attraction to protect performer vision and guest safety.

General Prohibited Items and Activities on Property:

6. COSTUME POLICY

  • Guests may wear costumes while visiting Staheli Family Farm and Field of
  • Screams, subject to this Costume Policy, the Farm Code of Conduct, and all other applicable Farm policies.
  • Prohibited Impersonation: Guests may not wear clothing, uniforms, costumes, accessories, badges, insignias, or props that may create the impression that the guest is employed by, affiliated with, or acting on behalf of Staheli Family Farm,
  • Field of Screams, law enforcement, security personnel, firefighters, emergency responders, military personnel, or any governmental agency.
  • Face Coverings, Masks, and Makeup: Halloween costumes, costume accessories, and face paint are permitted. Guests may not wear masks, facial coverings, makeup, prosthetics, or costume elements that completely conceal their identity or substantially obstruct the eyes, nose, or mouth in a manner that creates a safety or security concern. Staheli Family Farm and Field of Screams reserve the right to require the removal or modification of any mask, face covering, makeup application, or costume element for identification, safety, security, or operational purposes.
  • Costume Makeup and Prosthetics: Costume makeup and prosthetic effects are permitted provided they do not create safety concerns, obstruct identification, interfere with attraction operations, or violate any other provision of this
  • Costume Policy. Staheli Family Farm and Field of Screams reserve the right to require modification or removal of any makeup, prosthetic application, or costume effect deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.
  • Inappropriate Attire: Clothing, costumes, accessories, or other attire that Staheli Family Farm or Field of Screams determines to be indecent, excessively revealing, offensive, disruptive, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate for the environment are prohibited. The Farm reserves the right to prohibit costumes, clothing, or accessories depicting excessive gore, graphic violence, disturbing imagery, or other content deemed unsuitable for the event environment.
  • Weapons and Weapon-Like Items: Weapons of any kind are prohibited. Guests may not possess or bring any real weapon, replica weapon, prop weapon, toy weapon, or any item that resembles or could reasonably be mistaken for a weapon. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, chemical dispensing devices, clubs, batons, sticks, knives, swords, axes, or any object that may be used to cause bodily injury or threaten the safety of others.
  • Special Effects and Atmospheric Devices: Costumes may not include special effects or atmospheric devices, including but not limited to balloons, smoke effects, fog effects, pyrotechnics, powered effects, sound effects, lasers, or similar devices.
  • Oversized Costumes: Costumes that may create a safety hazard, obstruct walkways, interfere with attraction operations, restrict visibility, or otherwise impact guest safety are prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, costumes with long trains, stilts, oversized structures, extended components, or similar features.
  • Guest Conduct While in Costume: Guests may not impersonate, portray, perform as, or represent themselves as a Field of Screams actor, entertainer, character, employee, or member of staff. Guests may not intentionally frighten, harass, touch, interfere with, or disrupt other guests, employees, performers, attractions, queues, or event operations.
  • Attraction Restrictions: For safety reasons, guests may be required to remove or modify costume components, accessories, or attire before participating in certain attractions, activities, or areas of the property. Admission to specific attractions or areas may be restricted based on costume design, size, visibility limitations, or safety concerns.
  • Enforcement: Staheli Family Farm and Field of Screams reserve the sole right to interpret and enforce this Costume Policy. Guests who violate this Costume Policy may be required to modify or remove prohibited costume elements, change into compliant attire, be denied admission, removed from attractions, or removed from Farm property without refund. The interpretation and application of this Costume Policy by Staheli Family Farm and Field of Screams shall be final.
  • Changes to Policy: Staheli Family Farm and Field of Screams reserve the right to modify, revise, or update this Costume Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions become effective upon posting.

7. SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY
For the safety of guests, farm animals, and staff, pets are not permitted on Farm property.

Service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are welcome in standard outdoor open-air common areas and public pathways of the Farm where normal operational conditions exist.

However, due to extreme safety hazards, total or partial darkness, high-intensity strobe lighting, loud startle sounds, dense artificial fog, actor-driven interactions, and the severe risk of panic, injury, or trampling, service animals are strictly prohibited from entering the Field of Screams queue lines, staging areas, and the haunted attraction itself.

Emotional support, therapy, comfort, and companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and are strictly prohibited from all areas of the property. Guests utilizing service animals are required to make alternative arrangements for their animal’s care prior to entering the Field of Screams queue or attraction areas.

8. TICKET, ADMISSION, AND REFUND POLICIES

  • Validity: All tickets are valid only for the date, time, or event specified at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated. Admission is subject to operating hours, attraction availability, capacity limitations, and safety restrictions.
  • Refund Policy: All ticket sales are final. Admissions, tickets, event purchases, and reservations are non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling and Exchanges: Subject to availability and at the Farm’s sole discretion, certain tickets may be eligible for a date change or exchange if requested before the scheduled visit date. Additional fees or price differences may apply. The Farm is not obligated to honor change requests after the visit date has passed.
  • Weather Policy: The Farm and Field of Screams operate in a variety of weather conditions. Tickets will not be refunded due to rain, wind, heat, cold, dust, or other weather conditions unless the Farm officially closes the attraction or property. If the Farm cancels an event due to severe weather, the Farm may at its discretion issue a credit, reschedule, exchange, or provide a refund.
  • Transferability: Tickets may not be copied, duplicated, altered, resold, transferred for commercial purposes, or used for unauthorized promotional activities. The Farm reserves the right to void any ticket obtained through unauthorized resale, fraud, or misuse.
  • Lost or Damaged Tickets: The Farm is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of tickets. Proof of purchase may be required.
  • Pricing Errors: The Farm reserves the right to correct pricing, promotional, technical, or typographical errors at any time, including after an order has been submitted.

9. ATTRACTIONS, OPERATIONS, AND FORCE MAJEURE
Attractions, activities, amenities, entertainment, food service, vendors, and events may be modified, delayed, restricted, suspended, or canceled due to weather, maintenance, safety concerns, staffing, capacity limitations, agricultural operations, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond our control.

The temporary closure or unavailability of individual attractions or scare elements does not entitle guests to a refund, partial refund, or credit. The Farm reserves the right to make operational changes at any time without prior notice.

NOTICE OF MONITORING: Guests acknowledge that select areas of the property and queue lines are monitored by security cameras and recording equipment for safety, security, and operational quality control.

10. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA RELEASE
By entering the property, visitors grant Staheli Family Farm and Field of Screams permission to photograph, record, or capture their likeness, image, voice, or appearance in connection with Farm and attraction operations, events, marketing, advertising, promotional materials, social media, and other lawful business purposes without compensation or additional consent.

11. PERSONAL PROPERTY AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • Personal Property: Visitors are solely responsible for their personal belongings (including but not limited to: phones, keys, wallets, and costumes). The Farm is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property occurring anywhere on the premises, including inside the haunted attraction or queue lines.
  • Property Rights: All Farm and Field of Screams facilities, attractions, content, trademarks, logos, photographs, and materials remain the property of Staheli Family Farm or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without permission.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
These terms shall be governed by and construed strictly in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah. I agree that any legal action, dispute, or lawsuit arising out of this agreement or my visit to the Farm or Field of Screams shall be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington County, Utah. If any provision is found unenforceable, all remaining provisions remain in full force.

Staheli Family Farm and Field of Screams reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted here and become effective upon posting.

BY PURCHASING A TICKET, CHECKING THE “I AGREE” BOX, OR ENTERING THE PROPERTY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS ENTIRE DOCUMENT, INCLUDING THE SPECIALIZED FIELD OF SCREAMS WARNINGS AND RULES. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE OR TICKET PURCHASE CONSTITUTES A LEGALLY BINDING SIGNATURE. YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY ALL RULES, VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS, AND WAIVE YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AS OUTLINED ABOVE.
