Hands-On Agriculture Education Beyond the Classroom
Bring learning to life with an educational field trip at Staheli Family Farm. Our working family farm provides students with an engaging outdoor classroom where they can experience agriculture firsthand, connect with the land, and gain a deeper understanding of where food comes from.
Designed for schools, homeschool groups, preschools, and educational organizations, our field trips combine interactive learning with real-world farm experiences that encourage curiosity, discovery, and a greater appreciation for agriculture.
As a seventh-generation family farm, we are passionate about helping students explore the important role farming plays in everyday life through meaningful, age-appropriate activities and guided educational experiences.
Adventure Starts With Safety
A signed Release & Consent Form is required for all students prior to attending their field trip. This form must be completed by a parent or guardian to ensure participation and confirm acknowledgement of activity guidelines and safety requirements.
Agriculture Education in Action
Reading about agriculture is one thing. Experiencing it is another.
Students have the opportunity to walk through a working farm, observe daily agricultural practices, and connect classroom concepts to the world around them. These experiences help reinforce learning while encouraging curiosity and discovery.
Meet the Animals
Animal interactions are often the most memorable part of a field trip. Students can observe farm animals up close while learning about their care, purpose, and contribution to farm life.
These experiences help students develop a greater appreciation for agriculture while creating lasting memories outside the classroom.
Built for Schools and Educational Groups
Our field trips are designed to support teachers, administrators, and group leaders looking for an organized and educational outing. Programs are suitable for a variety of grade levels and can accommodate schools, homeschool groups, and youth organizations.
With dedicated staff and a welcoming farm environment, planning a successful field trip is simple and stress-free.
