Planning Tips

Clothing
We encourage visitors to wear closed toe shoes, such as sneakers or boots. It can get cool, so bring or wear a light jacket. Long pants are suggested. Plan on getting a little dirty … don’t wear your Sunday best!!

Facilities
Staheli Family farm has portable toilet facilities and hand washing stations.

Water
You may want to bring bottled water to the farm to drink in the more remote locations.

Food
Our concession stands open at 5pm daily.  Arrangements can be made to have them open earlier for large groups.

Safety
Staheli Family Farm is a real working farm.  It is quite common to see large tractors and trucks around the farm.  ALL activities are outside.   Bee stings, hay and straw allergies are common, so please come prepared with proper medication.  We do have a first aid kit on site.

Weather
Our weather here is beautiful but we do see ocasional storms pass through.  If it has been raining, please check with us before coming to the farm.
