Honky Tonk Heros
In 2009, members of the highly respected classic country group, “The Dixie Troubadours,” formed the “Honky Tonk Heroes.” HTH continues in the tradition of the Troubadours serving up the best classic and contemporary country music in Southern Utah.
The Heroes perform originals in addition to the staples of classic country and continue to delight audiences with tight arrangements, grooves and vocal harmonies. Audiences enjoy line dancing, two-step, East or West Coast Swing, a Lindy or a waltz . . . and the Honky Tonk Heroes will serve it up right.
HTH members have years of experience under their hats, and include on electric bass Bob Nolan, Ric Wayman on keyboard, Dave Stott on harmony vocals and lead electric guitar, John Hunter on the drum kit, and on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, songwriter Rich Panessa.
The band has performed all over the region but most recently at the “Overland Hotel in Pioche, Lincoln Count Fair in Nevada, Dixie Elks Lodge, Ancestor Square in St. George, and the Washington County Fair.
